We are actively seeking passionate scientists at all career stages to join our research team. Current openings include:
Graduate Students: Prospective PhD students interested in biochemistry, structural biology, quantitative approaches, and mechanistic cell biology are encouraged to contact the PI.
Undergraduate Researchers: Positions available for committed students interested in hands-on research experience, with preference given to students interested in multi-term projects. Applicants are encouraged to submit a brief cover letter describing their interests and what they hope to gain from the experience. Prospective candidates should consult the Undergraduate Research Center for advising and funding resources, and are encouraged to explore summer internship options.
Postdoctoral Scholars: We seek exceptional candidates with a broad scientific experience though a track record of in tight junction cell biology, large protein complex reconstitution, CRISPR/Cas9-based genome editing and cell line validation, or cryo-electron tomography and FIB milling is beneficial.
Postbaccalaureate Researchers: 1-2 year positions available for recent graduates seeking research experience before graduate school.
Foreign diploma students: we offer a limited number of 6-12 month projects for foreign diploma students interested in cell biology, biochemistry or biophysics.
Research Technicians: Full-time positions available for candidates with molecular and cell biology experience (apply here).
Lab manager + research scientist: We seek a candidate with experience or interest in developing lab management experience, as well as a strong background in mammalian cell culture and cell line development, or cryo-electron tomography and FIB milling (apply here).
Our lab provides comprehensive training, a collaborative environment, and opportunities for professional development. We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that celebrates diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
Interested candidates should contact the PI with CV/resume and brief statement of research interests and career goals.
